A little prep before your appointment makes the job go faster and protects things you don't want cleaned. Here's the short checklist every Space Coast homeowner should follow.
Once you've scheduled your pressure washing appointment with us, there's a short list of things that'll help the job go smoothly and protect your property. It only takes 15–20 minutes and makes a real difference.
Even low-pressure soft washing generates overspray. Make sure every window, door, and vent is closed before we arrive. If you have a doggy door, block it temporarily. Pressure washing generates significantly more overspray: don't leave anything open.
Clear the work area of patio furniture, potted plants, grills, decorative items, doormats, and anything else that could be in the way or get damaged. If we're cleaning a pool deck, pool toys and floats should come out. If we're washing the house exterior, move anything within 4–6 feet of the walls.
If we're cleaning your driveway, please move all vehicles off it before we arrive. If we're washing the house and not the driveway, just make sure vehicles aren't blocking our access around the home.
We bring our own water but we typically connect to your outdoor hose bibs. Make sure they're accessible and know where your main shutoff is in case anything needs attention.
We pre-wet and post-rinse all landscaping around the work area before applying any cleaning solutions, but if you have exceptionally delicate plants or newly transplanted seedlings near the house, it's worth moving them temporarily or giving us a heads up.
Keep pets and children away from the work area during cleaning and for about an hour after while surfaces dry. The equipment is loud and the water and solutions aren't for direct contact.
If there are specific stains you want us to focus on, fragile areas, known issues with your exterior, or access limitations, just let us know when we arrive. The more we know upfront, the better we can tailor the job.
You don't need to wet the surfaces before we arrive, pre-clean anything, or make any special accommodations beyond the list above. You also don't need to be home: as long as we have water access and the area is clear, we can complete the job and send you photos when we're done.
