Use the design and quote conversation to plan your holiday display, property access, and approximate seasonal timing without relying on a guaranteed date.
The practical time to begin planning Christmas light installation is when you are ready to define the display and discuss scheduling. Surfside offers free custom quotes, so the quote conversation can establish the property areas, access considerations, and display scope before installation.
Surfside typically installs Christmas lights from November 1 through December 24. Takedown typically occurs from January 2 through January 31. These dates are approximate rather than guaranteed, so they are useful for planning a conversation, not for assuming a specific installation or removal date.
A useful quote starts with the parts of the property you want to feature. Rooflines, gutter lines, trees, and columns are common display areas. You can also discuss whether the display is for a residence, commercial building, storefront, or HOA property.
Property access is one of the details Surfside discusses before confirming the plan. Sharing the areas you want lit and any access considerations helps keep the quote specific to the display that will be installed.
The program includes custom design, commercial-grade lights through a seasonal loan, installation, in-season maintenance and bulb replacement, post-season takedown, and off-season storage for the next year. The minimum is $750, and the quote is free.
Once the custom quote is approved, the customer pays a 50% deposit. Surfside purchases the equipment and material, installs the display, and then collects the remaining 50%.
