Project Case Study
Surfside Pressure Washing completed a soft wash of this 7,500-square-foot tile roof in Merritt Island, Florida. Using a similar process to our Suntree roof project, we cleaned the roof while keeping surrounding plants and vegetation wet to help protect the landscaping. Two before-and-after views document the visible change across this large roof.

This Merritt Island job involved a large tile roof with dark surface discoloration visible across the slopes in the before photographs. The 7,500-square-foot figure describes the roof area supplied for this project, not the home's interior living area. The roof's multiple slopes and features made the full scope important when planning the cleaning.
Surfside completed a roof soft wash using a process similar to the documented Suntree project. Soft washing relies on cleaning solutions and a low-pressure approach rather than high-pressure blasting. The photographs show results from different viewpoints across this roof, rather than a single isolated test patch.
As with the Suntree project, surrounding plants and vegetation were kept wet to help protect the landscaping during the roof wash. Planning for the planted areas around a large roof is part of the cleaning approach. These precautions help manage risk; they are not a blanket guarantee for every plant or property.
Both supplied comparisons show visibly reduced dark buildup and a more apparent light, warm tile color after cleaning. The second comparison provides another view of the slopes and roof features. These authentic project photographs show the appearance achieved here; they do not establish a structural repair, coating application, or guaranteed roof-life extension.
A large roof should be quoted for its actual conditions, not square footage alone. Roof material, pitch, access, existing damage, landscaping, and the extent of buildup all matter. For a Merritt Island estimate, share roof photographs, the approximate area if known, and any access restrictions. Surfside provides free estimates for the agreed cleaning scope.
The tile roof was 7,500 square feet, according to the project details supplied by Surfside. That measurement refers to the roof, not the home's interior floor area.
Surfside completed a soft wash using a process similar to its Suntree barrel tile roof project. Soft washing uses a low-pressure approach and cleaning solutions rather than relying on high-pressure blasting.
Plants and vegetation around the property were kept wet to help protect the landscaping during the roof-washing process. Precautions for another property should be discussed as part of its own estimate.
Yes. Surfside supplied both before-and-after collages for this 7,500-square-foot tile roof project in Merritt Island. Each collage shows the before view on the left and the cleaned result on the right.
Yes. Request a free roof-cleaning estimate and share your location, roof material, approximate area, photographs, and access concerns. A project's price and schedule depend on its own conditions; this case study does not establish a standard price or completion time.
